One very powerful passage was when Zero finally gave up listening to the people at the camp since they continuously called him dumb. Zero was very smart but he never got the chance to express it. It was sad how they said either he'll come back or he'll die so they removed all his files. Although Stanley found him under a boat surviving off of "Sploosh" he knew that he needed help. Stanley had allways though that Zero had potential which made this such a powerful passage.
