ASSIGNMENT #1.)
Your first assignment is to write a prediction by replying to this post. You must write a short paragraph between 5-8 sentences. You must use proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. I will be looking to see that you are using vocabulary that you have learned this year, as well as proper sentence/paragraph structure. Always keep in mind that you must be socially responsible. Don't forget that everything you write here will be moderated and reviewed by your entire class.
Judging from the title and picture i predict that this book will be about a kid that is somehow forced to dig a bunch of holes for someone. The main character will probably discover something is weird or mysterious about these holes. In this case it'll probably be about searching for gold or riches.
ReplyDelete@ Joe - Interesting prediction! One would assume that a novel titled, "HOLES" would definitely have something to do with holes. ;)

ReplyDeleteI can highly agree that this is a large possibility about what it is about. I fond that my prediction is alike your since we both think that a kid is for some reason forced to dig holes. Also, you found that out through the title which i did too. Next time add a little more detail. =D
